ProFile is a software package developed in collaboration with Whitmuir Walters Bateman, a management consultancy specialising in job evaluation and performance management systems. The Whitmuir method involves identifying key core competencies and levels of performance within those competencies. This information can then be used to objectively characterise the underlying structure of jobs within an organisation. This information can then be used to compare different roles within the organisation - the results can then be analysed for a variety of purposes.

The software itself is a multi-user Windows-based application running on SQL Server 2005.

ProFile is in use in a number of organisations including the Scottish Parliament.
